Who We Are

Come talk to us Peer Financial Counseling

Peer Financial Counseling offers all UVA students one-on-one help from trained peer counselors on a variety of topics, including budgeting, student loans, managing personal credit, basic investing, and preparing a financial plan for an internship or when you transition to the workforce.

We are not financial advisors, and we are not SFS employees who dig deep into the details of specific student situations with regard to financial aid or the student account, but we work closely with fellow students to help them sort out their financial values and priorities, and provide them ongoing support to stick with the financial plans they make. All of us have a financial story, but before your questions about your finances become a burden, come talk with a Peer Financial Counselor. We want to help you change your story.
