Submitting Forms & Documents

Completed forms and requested documents may be submitted in several ways. Please choose only one method of transmission and ensure the documents are signed and labeled with the student's full legal name and University ID number.

Any document containing personally identifying information, such as a Social Security Number, should never be transmitted in the body of an email message or in any attachment to an email message, as email is not a secure method of transmission.

SIS Upload

If the document was requested through your SIS To Do List and is eligible for electronic upload, it is most efficient for you to submit your documents online through your secure SIS account:

  • Click "Financials" and then "Finance Center" in the left menu
  • Choose an individual item on the resulting screen
  • On the details page, click the “Upload Document” button to submit your document online

Documents uploaded through the Student Information System are encrypted in transfer and are kept in a secure system vetted by the University’s Information Security Office. Submitted documents can only be accessed via VPN by authorized personnel of Student Financial Services and the University. The information is used only for the purpose of needs analysis for financial aid eligibility and is not shared.

Documents must be in PDF format and smaller than 20GB. If the document is not eligible for electronic upload, please choose another method of submission.

How will I know SFS received my document?

Within about 3 business days of when we receive a document, your To Do List item(s) should be removed from your SIS account. This will be your confirmation that the document has been received. Due to high volumes during our busiest time of the year in January - early March and then again from late June through August, it may take 2 weeks or longer for the To Do List item to be removed.
