Assistant Director of Residence Life at UVA Wise

I became a Peer Financial Counselor because I wanted to learn more about personal finance and use that knowledge to help students who might be unfamiliar with the topic or find it overwhelming, like I did upon entering college. It was made clear to me during my years as an undergraduate and even now working in student affairs that there is a great need to expand the resources and information available about this very essential life skill at higher education institutions. It is because of this, that I am glad to be part of the PFC Alumni Association and hope to continue supporting financial literacy among the UVA community.

I am particularly interested in discussing budgeting, healthy spending habits, and credit management.
