Arriving at UVA as a pre-comm major, I was always interested in money, finances, and how it affects our lives. Before getting to Charlottesville, I went through a complicated student loans process, but my dad sat me down and made sure I understood everything I was borrowing. I became a PFC to make sure every student would have the opportunity to ask about student loans, budgets, and any other financial topics they were concerned about. Financial independence begins at different stages for each of us, but it is something we will manage for the rest of our lives!
